Wouldn't our tax dollars and Nickelodean's efforts be better served if the focus of their intent be on actual parenting skills? Let's face it, yester-year's parents didn't put up with lazy, no-chore doing misfits, who constantly play video games or sit in front of TV with pounds of junk food. The kids don't buy the food, it's the parents. Just like the school's can't make the kids get their act together, so must the parents get their fat-*** kids off the media platform and do some chores, join the YMCA, Boys Club, Little League or other activities. These organizations are better baby sitters than the government or TV network, because they not only build physical fitness, but they build leadership and independence skills. Also, if the government was serious about childhood obesity, why is it then the new "trans-fat" laws don't apply to school lunch programs?Talk about hypocrisy.
