Airing the finale of HELL’S KITCHEN and Week 3 of MASTERCHEF, FOX won the night among A18-49, A18-34, A25-54 and all key demos and beat the next highest rated competitor by +21% among Adults 18-49 and +37% among Adults 18-34.
HELL’S KITCHEN:
At 8p the finale of HELL’S KITCHEN delivered a 3.2/11 among Adults 18-49, identical to last week’s telecast and tied as its highest rating of the summer at 8pm.
Last night’s HELL’S KITCHEN outperformed its prior summer average by +10% among Adults 18-49 and +13% in Total Viewers
The HELL’S KITCHEN finale was also the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-49, outperforming ABC’s Wipeout and Shaq Vs. and NBC’s America’s Got Talent.
Compared to its last finale (which aired during the Fall on 10/13/09), last night’s HELL’S KITCHEN finale was lower, but it’s important to note that TV usage last night was -19% lower than it was on 10/13/09
MASTERCHEF:
Week three of MASTERCHEF delivered a 2.7/8 among Adults 18-49, up +4 among Adults 18-49 and +5% in Total Viewers from last week.
MASTERCHEF won its hour among young Adults (18-34) and ranked No. 2 among Adults 18-49.

Competition
ABC’s Wipeout (2.6/8) matched its lowest original Tuesday rating of the summer, down -10% from last week and -13% from its prior original time period average (3.0/10). At 9p, Shaq Vs. posted a 1.4/4, down -22% from its premiere last week (1.8/5). A repeat Primetime: What Would You Do? (1.5/5) aired at 10p.
On CBS, NCIS (1.4/5), NCIS: LA (1.3/4) and The Good Wife (1.0/3) were all repeats.
Following a Minute To Win It repeat (1.5/5), NBC’s America’s Got Talent (2.9/9) was flat with its recent performances but down -9% from its prior average on the night (3.2/9).
The CW aired a repeat Plain Jane at 8p (0.5/2), followed by original episodes of 18 To Life at 9p (0.3/1) and 9:30p (0.3/1).
