First combined Radio Show kicks off in DC (audio)

The Radio Show has long been a fall event, but what’s different this year is that it isn’t just the NAB Radio Show. It’s also the RAB Radio Show. RBR-TVBR spoke with the respective chairs of the two organizations about the first-ever joint show.

 

 

 

Caroline Beasley is Executive Vice President and CFO of publicly traded Beasley Broadcast Group Inc, which her father, George, founded in 1961. She joined the company in 1983. Caroline Beasley is also the current Chair of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Radio Board. She was interviewed recently by RBR-TVBR Executive Editor Jack Messmer.

Her driver’s license may say Louise, but everyone in radio knows her as Weezie Kramer. She is a Regional Vice President of Entercom Communications, a publicly traded radio company, and the current Chair of the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB). Kramer also spoke recently with Messmer.
