Northeast Indiana Public Radio has sold its Fort Wayne communications tower, which is home to a pair of FM stations among other things.

The tower is 625 feet tall, and provides a home for WBOI-FM and WNHT-FM, as well as an array of other communications operations.

The deal was brokered by Bob Heymann of Media Services Group. He commented, “This is a wonderful example of a radio company unlocking the value of an asset and having it provide significant capital for the organization.”

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
