Larry Bostwick’s LB Sports Productions LLC has filed to acquire WRMS-FM Beardstown IL, serving an unrated portion of the state west of Springfield. The company already has two FM stations in the area.
The station is being sold by John W. Conner’s Conner Family Broadcasting. It’s a cash deal worth $395K.
LB runs a sports format on its WVIL-FM, licensed to Virginia IL, and provides other sports-related services, including embroidery and silk-screening for uniforms and other purposes, and framing, with a specialty in sports photos and plaques. LB also owns WKXQ-FM Rushville IL.
