The majority of broadcast shows were down last night. With originals of HOUSE and 24, FOX finished second for the night among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers, and won the night among Adults 18-34.
HOUSE:
Last night’s HOUSE posted a 4.8/13 among Adults 18-49 and delivered its highest Adults 18-34 rating in over two months (since 11/16/09). HOUSE was in-line with recent telecasts, but down -8% compared to last week (5.2/13) in Adults 18-49.
HOUSE was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-34 and Teens, outperforming ABC’s The Bachelor, CBS’ comedies and CSI: Miami and NBC’s Chuck, Heroes and Jay Leno Show.
HOUSE won its 8p hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34/25-54, Teens and key demos.
24:
At 9p, ‘24’ posted a 3.1/7 among Adults 18-49, down -9% from last week (3.4/8). ‘24’ ranked No. 3 in the hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
Competition
ABC’s The Bachelor (4.1/10) was on the high side at 8p and a repeat Castle posted a 2.2/6 at 10p.
CBS’ How I Met Your Mother (3.7/10), Accidentally on Purpose (3.1/8) and Two & A Half Men (5.1/12) were all down while Big Bang Theory (5.4/13) was on par. At 10p, CSI: Miami (3.6/10) matched its lowest original of the season.
NBC’s Chuck (2.4/6) was low while Heroes (2.0/5) was line with its recent performances. The Jay Leno Show at 10p (1.1/3) delivered its lowest original Monday episode ever.
