Fox Sunday animation w/ 'The Simpsons' No. 2 and winner in Teens

With originals of THE SIMPSONS, THE CLEVELAND SHOW and AMERICAN DAD, FOX ranked No. 2 last night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and won the night among Teens.  


At 8p, THE SIMPSONS delivered a 4.2/11 among Adults 18-49, up +2% from last week (4.1/10).  Last night’s episode tied as THE SIMPSONS’ highest-rated episode among Adults 18-49 so far this season and posted its largest audience so far in Total Viewers.

THE CLEVELAND SHOW followed at 8:30p and posted a 3.2/8 among Adults 18-49, down -6% from last week (3.4/8), but up +7% from its prior season average (3.0/7).  A special telecast of THE CLEVELAND SHOW aired at 9p and drew a 2.8/7 among Adults 18-49. 

AMERICAN DAD closed the night at 9:30p delivered a 2.5/6 among Adults 18-49, down -14% without its usual FAMILY GUY lead-in.  

Competition

Following America’s Funniest Home Videos (1.9/5) and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (2.2/6), ABC’s Desperate Housewives (3.5/8) matched its lowest performance this season, dropping -8% from its last original (11/14/10). At 10p, Brothers & Sisters (2.2/6) hit a season low and tied its lowest original rating ever, down -12% from its last original on 11/14/10.

Following 60 Minutes (2.0/6) at 7p, CBS’ The Amazing Race 17 posted a 3.0/7, down -6% from last week’s episode. Undercover Boss matched its series low (2.7/6) at 9p, -21% below both last week’s telecast and its prior average (3.4/8). CSI: Miami finished the night with a 2.5/6, up +9% from its last original on 11/21/10.

Due to the nature of live sports, Fast Nationals for NBC are approximate. In addition, note that NBC’s 7p NFL Pre-Game will be sustained by Nielsen. Following Football Night In America at 7p (1.7/5), 7:30p (2.7/7) and 8p (5.0/13), NBC’s Sunday Night Football Game 13: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens posted a 7.3/18 from 8:30-11p, up from last week’s matchup (IND Colts vs. SDG Chargers), which delivered an 6.0/14 from 8:30-11p in the Fast Nationals before rising to a 7.1/17 from 8:31-11:03p in the Finals.
