Fox takes Wednesday w/ ‘Human Target’ and ‘American Idol’

With the 8pm time period premiere of HUMAN TARGET and an AMERICAN IDOL “Road to Hollywood” special at 9pm, FOX won the night across all demos, dominating the next highest rated network (+CBS) by +47% among Adults 18-49, +77% among Adults 18-34 and +236% among Teens.


AMERICAN IDOL:
Last night’s AMERICAN IDOL ROAD TO HOLLYWOOD special posted a 7.7/20 among Adults 18-49 and drew 20.8 million Total Viewers, winning the 9pm hour across all demos and beating the next-highest rated show in the hour by +103% among Adults 18-49, +113% among Adults 18-34, +445% in Teens and +41% in Total Viewers.

With an extra week of auditions, AMERICAN IDOL’s average so far this year with audition episodes retained 92% of last year’s auditions among Adults 18-49, 93% among Adults 18-34and 94% in Total Viewers .

HUMAN TARGET:
The 8p time period premiere of HUMAN TARGET posted a 2.4/7 among Adults 18-49 and drew 7.6 million Total Viewers.

HUMAN TARGET ranked third in the 9p hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and No. 1 in Teens.

Competition
ABC ran a repeat Modern Family (2.4/7) at 8p, followed by an original episode of The Middle (2.7/8) that was on the high side as well as originals of Modern Family (3.9/10), Cougar Town (2.9/7), and Ugly Betty (1.5/4) that were all low .

Following the CBS special The Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials (2.9/9), Criminal Minds and CSI: NY delivered a 3.8/10 and 3.4/10, respectively.

NBC aired an original Mercy (1.6/5) at 8p, followed by a repeat Law & Order: SVU (0.9/2) and an original Jay Leno Show (1.2/3) that was down week over week.
