Fox usual Thursday night w/ ‘Bones’ taking second place

On a particularly tough night for all broadcast nets, FOX ranked No. 2 for the night among Adults 18-49 and No. 3 in Adults 18-34 and Teens. Airing against the NFL Draft for the night, BONES at 8p posted a 2.5/7 among Adults 18-49, down -14% from last week among Adults 18-49 (vs. 2.9/9) and ranked No. 2 in the hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.


At 9p, FRINGE delivered a 2.1/6 among Adults 18-49 and was down -16% compared to last week among Adults 18-49. FRINGE ranked No. 4 in the hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and No. 3 in Teens.

Competition
ABC’s Flash Forward (1.6/5) was low, up two tenths from its last original but down -36% from its prior season average with original episodes (2.5/7).  A special 9p Private Practice (2.3/6) delivered its lowest original Thursday rating ever while a Grey’s Anatomy repeat posted a 1.3/4 at 10p.

At 8p on CBS, Survivor: Heroes & Villains (3.6/11) was down -5% week over week and matched its lowest-rated Thursday of this cycle.  The 9p CSI (2.8/8) matched its lowest original ever, dropping -7% from last week and -20% from its season average with first-run episodes (3.5/9). The Mentalist at 10p (3.0/8) declined -14% from its last original on 4/8/10 as well as from its prior original average (3.5/10).

NBC’s Community (1.7/5) delivered its lowest original rating to date, down -19% from last week and -26% from its performance with first-run episodes (2.3/7). A special 830p 30 Rock (1.9/6) posted the show’s lowest original Thursday rating ever.  The Office (3.3/9) established a first-run season low at 9p, dropping -6% from its last original and -20% from its prior original average (4.1/11) while a second 30 Rock (2.5/7) was also low at 930p, down -14% from both its last original and it prior its original average (2.9/8).  At 10p, The Marriage Ref (1.9/5) posted its lowest rating to date, falling -10% from last week and down-trending steadily for a fourth consecutive week (2.9/9 > 2.5/7 > 2.3/7 > 2.1/6 > 1.9/5).
