FOX wins with ‘Bones’ and ‘Fringe’ both posting high numbers

While the other networks gave repeats Fox with fresh scripted shows wins, period.


FOX is yet again making major inroads on Thursdays!  FOX won Thursday night with a 3.3/9 and 10.6 million total viewers, up +6% among Adults 18-49 and +13% in Total Viewers week-over-week. In fact, last night was FOX’s highest-rated Thursday night of the season among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers (excluding sports).

Last night, BONES posted a 3.6/11, up +3% from last week and its highest-rated telecast in over 2 years (since 11/6/07).  In addition, BONES achieved its highest number of Total Viewers (12.4 million) in three years (since 2/7/07)!

At 9p, FRINGE posted a 3.0/8, up +15% in the adult demo and up +29% in Total Viewers from last week.  Last night’s episode tied as FRINGE’s highest-rated telecast of the season among Adults 18-49 and was its highest-rated episode so far this season among Adults 18-34 and Total Viewers.

So far this season, FOX’s Thursday average  with regular programming is up +25% in Adults 18-49 and +65% in Total Viewers vs. the same weeks last season. 

Competition
Week two of new ABC drama The Deep End (1.7/5) dropped -6% with its premiere last Thursday (1.8/5).  Repeats of Grey’s Anatomy (1.5/4) and Private Practice (1.2/3) followed.

On CBS the Jeff Probst hosted special, Live for the Moment, posted a 1.1/3 at 8p.  Repeats of CSI (2.0/5) and The Mentalist (2.3/6) ran at 9p and 10p.

On NBC, repeats of Community (1.6/5), Parks & Recreation (1.6/4), The Office (2.1/6) and 30 Rock (1.7/5) were followed by an original episode of The Jay Leno Show (1.2/3) which delivered its lowest Thursday rating of the season, down -25% from its prior average on the night (1.6/5).
