Fox with two-hours of 'Masterchef' #4 Wednesday

FOX aired two hours of MASTERCHEF and ranked No. 1 last night among Adults 18-49 (tie), Adults 18-34, Women 18-34 and Men 18-49/18-34/25-54 (tie).


MASTERCHEF posted a 2.0/6 among Adults 18-49, down two tenths from last week (vs. 2.2/7).
MASTERCHEF grew in every half hour in both the adult demo and total viewers, and saw a +29% increase from the first half hour to the last among Adults 18-49.
Summer to date, MASTERCHEF remains the highest rated new program of the summer among A18-49, outperforming the next highest rated (ABC’s Bachelor Pad) by +14%.

Competition
On ABC, The CMA Music Festival delivered a 1.7/5, down -15% among Adults 18-49 and -19% in Total Viewers from last year’s telecast (2.0/6 on Monday 8/31/09).

Week eight of Big Brother (2.8/10) on CBS was flat week over week. Repeats of Criminal Minds (1.7/5) and CSI: NY (1.4/4) followed at 9p and 10p.

NBC’s Minute To Win It (1.7/6) was down -11% from its prior summer Wednesday average (1.9/7). At 9p, America’s Got Talent (2.5/7) posted its lowest original rating of the summer, down -7% from last Wednesday and -17% from its prior Wednesday average (3.0/9). A repeat Law & Order: SVU aired at 10p (1.4/4).

The CW aired a repeat America’s Next Top Model at 8p (0.5/2) and the season finale of Plain Jane at 9p (0.4/1).
