The season finale of ABC’s The Bachelor posted a 5.2/13 at 8p, down -4% from its spring 09 finale on the same night last year (5.4/13 on 3/2/09). The special Bachelor: After The Final Rose delivered a 5.4/14, down -19% versus the same special last season (on 3/2/09)..
CBS’ How I Met Your Mother (3.9/11), the season premiere of Rules of Engagement (3.5/9), Two & A Half Men (5.7/14) and Big Bang Theory (5.9/14) were all above their prior time period averages. Rules of Engagement dropped -10% from last year’s 9:30p spring debut (3.9/9 on 3/2/09). At 10p, CSI: Miami (3.4/9) delivered its lowest rated original of the season.
NBC’s Chuck (2.4/6) was on par with its 2009/10 average at 8p and the two-hour Monday premiere of Law & Order delivered a 2.0/5 at 9p. Compared to The Jay Leno Show’s Monday in the 10pm hour, last night’s Law & Order was up +31%.
