Friday 'Dateline NBC' No.2 in 18-49 tied No. 1 25-54

At 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “Minute To Win It” (1.2/4 in adults 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall) tied for #1 for the hour in adults 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW.  “Minute To Win It” also tied for #1 in adults 25-54 and was #1 outright in men 25-54. 


“Minute To Win It” clocked NBC’s highest 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time period since October 8.

From 9-11 p.m. ET, “Dateline NBC” (1.4/5 in adults 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall) matched its highest 18-49 rating for a Friday telecast since October 8 and attracted its biggest overall Friday audience since that same date.  In its time period, “Dateline” is #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and #1 or tied for #1 in adults 25-54 and all key adult-male demos.  From its first half-hour to its fourth, “Dateline” grew by 55 percent in adult 18-49 rating and by 23 percent or 1.3 million persons in total viewers (6.8 million vs. 5.5 million).

For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., “Dateline NBC” finished #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and also ranks #1 or tied for #1 in adults 18-34, adults 25-54, women 18-49, women 25-54 and all key adult-male demos.
 
For the night, NBC ranked #2 in adults 18-49, a tenth of a point out of first place, and #1 or tied for #1 in men 18-49, adults 25-54 and men 25-54. 
NBC generated its highest Friday 18-49 and total-viewer averages in nine weeks (since October 8).
