Last night on Univision, the funniest talent search on Spanish-language television – Parodiando – wrapped up with 10 finalists competing for the top spot as best celebrity impersonator. Following three rounds of competition over two hours from 7 to 9 p.m., winner Roy Ramos took home a grand prize of approximately $80,000. Based on fast affiliate data, the “Parodiando” finale:
- Delivered an average audience of 2.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.3 million Adults 18-49 and 707,000 Adults 18-34
- In the time period (7:00pm to 9:00pm), made Univision the:
- #3 Broadcast Network, beating ABC and NBC, among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-3
- Averaged more Adult 18-34 and Person 12-34 viewers than first-run episodes of NBC’s “Dateline NBC” and “Harry’s Law” as well as the season finale of “CSI: Miami” on CBS.
- Out-performed NBC’s “Dateline NBC” and “Harry’s Law” among Adults 18-49.
- Generated significantly more viewers to the network’s Sunday 7pm to 9pm time slot from that of last year (04/10/2011) across all Viewers 2+ (+14%), Adults 18-49 (+14%), Adults 18-34 (+10%), Persons 12-34 (+18%), Men 18-49 (+27%) and Women 18-49 (+4%).
