Gabay Grabs SVP/Comedy Slot At FOX

Jonathan Gabay has been promoted to the role of SVP/Comedy Development & Programming at the FOX Television Network. He reports to EVP/Comedy Development Suzanna Makkos and will help drive the development of new sitcoms for the network.


Gabay has been with Fox since 2011. In his new role, he will also be charged with leading series coverage on existing 30-minute programs.

Gabay was Manager/Comedy Development, and has also served as a VP/Comedy Development and Programming.

Programs such as The Grinder have landed on the FOX lineup thanks to his input.

Gabay currently oversees such shows as The Mick and the animated Family Guy. He’s also recently had his hands involved with The Last Man on Earth and New Girl.

Gabay joined FOX after a run as a coordinator of current programming at The CW.
