Gray Shareholders Get A Non-Binding Vote On Exec Pay

Consistent with its practice of making initial compensation decisions for a fiscal year in the first quarter of each year, Gray Television‘s Compensation Committee in January 2016 approved its 2016 base salaries for the company’s Named Executive Officers.

Now, the company has revealed the salaries for its top three executives, which reflect a 6% raise in base salary for each of the Gray officers.

The company also says that its annual shareholder meeting, set for May 3 in Atlanta, will seek the approval — on a non-binding advisory basis — of 2017 compensation for the trio.

The shareholder meeting, which will be held at Gray’s headquarters, is also set to see the election of nine members of the TV company’s board of directors.

A radio industry leader is among the nominees.
