Disney Channel’s season premiere of “Hannah Montana Forever” (8:00 – 8:30 p.m.) was TV’s No. 1 telecast for the week in Kids 6-11 (2.2 million/9.0 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.9 million/7.9 rating), and cable’s No. 1 scripted telecast in Total Viewers (5.7 million).

Fresh off its most-watched season ever, “Hannah Montana Forever’s” Sunday’s opener grew over Season Three’s average by more than a million Total Viewers (5.7 million vs. 4.5 million) and by 22% in Kids 6-11 (2.2 million vs. 1.8 million). Sunday’s premiere also built over Season Two’s average by more than a million

Total Viewers (5.7 million vs. 4.5 million) and by 16% in Kids 6-11 (2.2 million vs. 1.9 million), and over Season One’s average by 50% in Total Viewers (5.7 million vs. 3.8 million) and by 29% in Kids 6-11 (2.2 million vs. 1.7 million).

Sunday’s all new “Good Luck Charlie” (8:30 – 9:00 p.m.) ranked as the series’ No. 1 telecast of all time in Total Viewers (5.0 million) and Kids 6-11 (2.1 million/8.6 rating), and performed at near record-setting levels in Tweens 9-14 (1.8 million/7.5 rating – No. 2 telecast ever).

At 9 o’clock, an original “JONAS L.A.” posted the show’s best numbers in more than a year (since 7/5/09) in Total Viewers (3.8 million – No. 3 telecast ever) and Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million/6.4 rating). Sunday’s telecast was also the show’s best in 9 months (since 10/11/09) in Kids 6-11 (1.6 million/6.5 rating).

In Kids 6-11, Disney Channel was home to 4 of the week’s top 5 telecasts across all of TV: “Hannah Montana Forever” (No. 1 – 2.2 million/9.0 rating, Sun., 8:00 – 8:30 p.m.), “Good Luck Charlie” (No. 2 – 2.1 million/8.6 rating, Sun., 8:30 – 9:00 p.m.), “JONAS L.A.” (No. 4 – 1.6 million/6.5 rating, Sun., 9:00 – 9:30 p.m.) and “The Suite Life On Deck” (No. 5 – 1.4 million/5.8 rating, Sun., 9:30 – 10:00 p.m.).

And with 4 of the top 5 telecasts of the week in Kids 6-11, Disney Channel ranked No. 1 in Total Day for the 2nd consecutive week in the key kids demo (834,000/3.4 rating). Disney Channel outranked runner-up Nickelodeon in Total Day* in Kids 6-11 (872,000 vs. 760,000) for the 2nd straight week and in Tweens 9-14 (692,000 vs. 560,000) for the 4th week in a row.

In Prime, Disney Channel was cable’s most-watched network of the week in Total Viewers (2.8 million), surpassing No. 2 USA (2.7 million). Disney Channel remains TV’s No. 1 network in Kids 6-11 (1.1 million/4.6 rating) for the 271st consecutive week, and with the streak at 268 out of 271 weeks, with Tweens

9-14 (924,000/3.8 rating). Playhouse Disney’s “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” (486,000/2.9 rating) was the week’s No. 10 program on TV among target preschoolers aged 2-5.
