Hilton creative in review

AdAge reports Hilton Hotels has placed its creative account in review. “I can tell you we are conducting a closed review of a small group of agencies,” a Hilton spokesman told them. “It’s a great opportunity for us to find a partner who can support our global presence.” It wasn’t immediately clear whether the incumbent, WPP’s Y&R, will defend. It has handled the brand since 2005.

The review does not include other brands owned by parent Hilton Worldwide, which include Doubletree, Conrad, Hilton Garden Inn, Embassy Suites, Hampton and Waldorf-Astoria. Hilton spent $51 million on measured media in the U.S. last year, according to Kantar Media.
