WWJN-FM Ridgeland SC is getting a new owner. The station, serving the Hilton Head SC market, will be going to Low Country Radio, headed by C.J. Jones and friends. His two partners in the acquisition are Joe Mule and Joel Garrett.
The seller is JB Broadcasting, LLC, headed by John Broomfield. The station is a standalone in the small coastal market.
According to Todd Fowler of Fowler Media Consulting, the price is $640K, provided for with a combination of cash and seller paper.
The station throws off 16 kw on 104.9 MHz.
