‘House’ & ‘24’ led Fox to Monday’s #1 winner circle

Rumors continue to circulate that this will be the final season for ‘24’ ending its eight year run come this spring. Fox has not confirmed any of these rumors.
FOX delivered wins across the board last night, placing No. 1 among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens, Total Viewers and all demos.


NOTE: With the start of Daylight Savings Time, broadcast usage week to week fell significantly.  Compared to last week, PUT levels during the 8-10pm hour saw a decline of -8% among Adults 18-49 (35.3 vs. 38.2). 

At 8p HOUSE posted a 4.0/12 among Adults 18-49 and won the 8p hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos.  Due in part to lower overall broadcast usage levels last night, HOUSE saw a decline of -17% wek over week.

At 9p, ‘24’ posted a 2.7/7, down slightly from last week (2.8/7) among Adults 18-49, but up +1% in Total Viewers (9.0 vs. 8.9 Mil.)  ‘24’ ranked No. 2 in its hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and No. 1 in Men 18-34 (tie).

Competition
ABC ran the two-hour 20/20 special Inside The Bachelor: The Stories Behind The Rose (2.3/6) and a repeat Castle (1.8/5).

CBS aired a repeat How I Met Your Mother (2.0/6) and an original of Rules of Engagement (2.7/8) that fell -25% from the previous week.  From 9-11pm repeats of Two & A Half Men (3.8/10), Big Bang Theory (3.8/10) and CSI: Miami (2.3/7) aired.

NBC’s Chuck (1.9/6) posted its lowest original rating ever at 8p, dropping -17% from last week and down -21% from its prior average this season (2.4/6).  Trauma (1.5/4) was also low at 9p, down -17% from its 2009/10 average (1.8/4) while Law & Order (1.8/5) was in line with its prior Monday average at 10p.
