'Human Target' at Fox ends in fourth-place Wednesday

Last night’s premiere of HUMAN TARGET posted a 1.8/5 among Adults 18-49, in line with its finale on 4/14/10 (1.9/6). 


HUMAN TARGET maintained its audience throughout the hour among Adults 18-49 and gained +6% in Total Viewers (6.8 vs. 6.4 Mil.) over the course of the episode. 

At 9p, HELL’S KITCHEN posted a 2.6/7 among Adults 18-49, on par with its delivery last week (2.6/7, 8-10p).

FOX ranked third for the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

Competition

ABC comedies The Middle (2.8/9, down -3%), Better With You (2.3/7, down -8%), Modern Family (4.7/13, down -2%), and Cougar Town (3.0/8, flat) were all on par with their recent performances. At 10p, the special 25 Years of Sexy: People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive! posted a 1.5/5.

On CBS, Survivor: Nicaragua (3.5/10) and Criminal Minds (3.7/10) were both up versus last week’s season lows, but in line with their prior averages. At 10p, new series The Defenders (1.9/6) closed the night up +6% from last week’s season low but down -17% from its prior season average (2.3/7).  Through nine original telecasts, The Defenders is -28% below CSI: NY’s year-ago performance in the time period (2.3/7 vs. 3.2/9).

NBC’s 8p Dateline special William & Kate: A Royal Love Story posted a 1.6/5. Despite following their highest 8p lead-in in weeks, Law & Order: SVU (2.1/6) and Law & Order: LA (1.9/6) were both low, down -19% and -17% from their prior original averages (2.6/7 and 2.3/7), respectively.
