Last night, AMERICAN IDOL stabilized and THE FINDER saw another big gain in week three. FOX ranked #1 last night across every demo and outperformed the next highest-rated network (CBS) by +46% among Adults 18-49.

AMERICAN IDOL tied as the highest-rated program of the night among Adults 18-49 and was the #1 program overall among Total Viewers.

* AMERICAN IDOL: 5.4/15, but will likely go up to a 5.5 in the finals — which will be down only -4% from last week’s Thursday premiere
o IDOL won its 8p hour, beating its nearest competitor (CBS) by +23%.
o IDOL grew +25% from its second half hour to its first (4.8 > 6.0).

* THE FINDER: 2.9/7, up +32% from last week in the demo and up +29% in Total Viewers (8.5 vs. 6.6 Mil.)
o THE FINDER ranked #1 in its hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
o Since its premiere, THE FINDER has grown +71% among Adults 18-49

Competition

ABC ran repeats of Wipeout (1.5/4), Grey’s Anatomy (1.3/3), and Private Practice (0.9/2).

CBS aired original episodes of The Big Bang Theory (5.4/15, up +2%) and Rob (3.5/9, flat), followed by repeats of Person Of Interest (2.1/5) and The Mentalist (1.9/5).

NBC’s 30 Rock (1.6/4) was flat with last week’s season low, while Parks & Recreation (1.7/4) dropped -11% to its series low.  At 9pm, a special 30 Rock (1.9/5) was down -37% from last week’s episode of The Office in the time period. A repeat Up All Night (1.4/3) followed, and The Firm (1.0/3) closed the night up +11% from last week.
