“Idol” finale beats “Dancing” finale

Fox claimed a ratings win across the demos last week as the finale of “American Idol” topped all other shows on television, including the finale of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.”


In the key 18-49 demo, Fox scored an average rating of 3.3 and an 11 share. CBS was at 1.8/6, ABC and NBC 1.6/5, Univision 1.4/4, Telemundo and TeleFutura 0.5/2, CW 0.4/1, Ion 0.3/1 and Estrella TV and Azteca America 0.1/0.

In Households Fox was at 5.6/10, CBS 5.1/9, ABC 4.2/8, NBC 2.9/5, Univision 1.6/3, Ion and CW 0.7/1, Telemundo 0.6/1, TeleFutura 0.5/1 and Azteca America and Estrella TV 0.1/0.
