The Top 12 Guys performed on a special AMERICAN IDOL last night, propelling FOX to #1 among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and Teens and driving the majority of shows from 8-10pm to season or series lows.
Last night’s AMERICAN IDOL gave FOX the highest rated Tuesday night this season on any network among Adults 18-49. In fact, FOX out-rated its nearest competitor for the night by +79% in Adults 18-49 (5.0 vs. 2.8 for CBS), +147% in Adults 18-34 (3.7 vs. 1.5 for CBS) and +9% in Total Viewers (15.8 vs. 14.5 for CBS).

Competition
From 8-10p on ABC, Last Man Standing (2.1/6, down -5%), Cougar Town (1.5/4, down -12%) and The River (1.5/4, down -12%) all delivered their lowest original ratings to date. Closing out the night, Body of Proof (1.3/4) dropped -13%.
Following a season low NCIS (3.4/9, down -6%), NCIS: LA (3.1/8) gained +15% from last week’s season low. At 10p, Unforgettable (1.9/5, down -5%) closed out the night with its lowest rating to date.
Following NBC’s Biggest Loser (2.0/5, down -13%), which reached its lowest this cycle, the Season 3 finale of Parenthood posted a 1.9/5, up +12% from last week.
