Cox Media Group’s Atlanta Radio has named Jaleigh Long as the new co-General Sales Manager (GSM) for News Talk WSB. Long will work alongside Beth Bowers, who was also named to the GSM position in December 2013.
“Jaleigh Long has a proven track record of leading her teams from the front,” said CMG Atlanta Director of Sales Walt Phillips. “Her focus has and will continue to be on developing talent and driving new business development initiatives. She’s strategic in her problem solving and decision making with an extensive background in digital ad products and strategy. Partnering with current GSM Beth Bowers only strengthens our position when it comes to coaching and leading this team into a new era at News Talk WSB.”
Long spent the last seven years as GSM for South Central Media in Evansville, Ind., a radio (WIKY, WSTO, WABX, WLFW, and WEJK) and digital marketing company. Prior to South Central Media, Long was an Account Manager at Susquehanna Radio/Cumulus in Indianapolis for four years.
