Kentucky trio sold

SoldCommonwealth Broadcasting Company, headed by well-known industry activist Steve Newberry, is selling three stations to subsidiaries of Key Broadcasting Corporation. Broker: Ed Henson, Henson Media


The stations are WTCO-AM/WCKQ-FM Campbellsville KY and WGRK-FM Greensburg KY.

The buyer, headed by Terry Forcht, will be using licensee names Tri-County Radio Broadcasting Corporation and First Corbin Realty, LLC to legally house the properties after closing.

The price will be $1,700,000 cash,

Radio is just one of many business categories in Forcht’s portfolio. The Forcht Group also has interests in such disparate endeavors as banks and financial services, nursing homes and insurance.
