Lady GagaIf proof is needed that radio is one of the most valuable tools available when it comes to promoting recorded music, one need look no further than the deal between Lady Gaga and Clear Channel Media and Entertainment to give her latest release a splashy introduction.


CCM&E is broadcasting a 30-minute special to introduce “ARTPOP” across more than 150 stations representing several formats, including CHR, Rhythmic CHR and HAC. iHeart is in on the fun – in fact, it’s being called “The Lady Gaga iHeartRadio Album Release Party,” and it will also be shown later on TV’s CW Network.
