License companies under the TLC of Border Media Business Trust have been spinning off assets, and the latest to find a buyer is KNEX-LP, a Channel 55 low power outlet said by the FCC to be licensed but silent at the moment.
The buyer is Eagle Creek Broadcasting of Laredo LLC, headed by Jon Rand and Brian W. Brady.
The contract specifies BMP 100.5 FM LP/BMP Radio LP as the seller, license companies assigned to the Business Trust for management and resale. The Trust is headed by W. Lawrence Patrick.
The price for KNEX will be $15K cash.
The FCC application states that an application is already in to treat KNEX as a rebroadcaster of Eagle Creekâs Channel 13 KVTV, the Laredo CBS outlet.
