Laura Stefani is now Member of Washington, D.C. Communications Law practice Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, with the primary practice areas of media, telecommunications, intellectual property, internet law, technical innovation, litigation, government relations, and corporate and non-profit services.
The promotion took place on January 1.
Stefani joined FHH as counsel in October 2014. Her primary professional focus has been emerging technologies and the use of spectrum. She has considerable experience with unlicensed wireless technologies, RF equipment issues, and spectrum sharing, as well as with a broad range of licensed wireless services.
Laura is a graduate of the George Washington University Law School, where she served on the Environmental Lawyer law journal and received honors in legal research and writing.
Stefani is active in the Federal Communications Bar Association. She Co-Chaired both the Engineering and Technical Practice Committee and the International Telecommunications Committee, and served on the Continuing Legal Education and Nominations Committees.
Stefani wrote about the future of electric cars in the early 1990s, while covering Congressional hearings for the Carnegie Commission on Science, Technology and Government.
