'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' hit series high, #2 Sunday ratings

From 7-8 p.m. ET, “Dateline NBC” averaged a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 4.4 million viewers overall.  From its first half-hour to its second, “Dateline” increased its 18-49 rating by 25 percent (to a 1.0 from a 0.8).


From 8-9 p.m. ET, “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall) matched NBC’s highest 18-49 rating in this time period since June 27.

At 9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” (1.1/3 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall) scored the show’s highest 18-49 rating for a Sunday telecast since June 27.  From its first half-hour to its second, the 9 p.m. edition of “CI” grew by 20 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.2 from a 1.0) and 15 percent in total viewers (5.7 million vs. 4.9 million).

At 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” (1.1/3 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall) matched the show’s highest 18-49 rating for a Sunday telecast since June 27.  In the time period, “CI” is #2 among the major networks in all key ratings categories.

In the 10:30 lead-in to local news, “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” is tied for #1 among the major networks in the key news demo of adults 25-54 (1.5 rating for “CI” and CBS’s encore of “Undercover Boss”) and is #1 outright in men 25-54.
