Luken said it will feature family-friendly and faith-based programming. Launching this month, it replaces My Family TV, a JV between Luken and ValCom, Inc. My Family Television, LLC, managed by Luken, has operated the My Family TV network since 3/11. A transition will occur over the next several months in which ValCom and Luken Communications will individually establish new network identities and will transition their respective affiliates and programming to the new networks. At the end of the transition period, the My Family TV network and trade name will be discontinued.
The program library and schedule will augment My Family TV’s current lineup of shows such as The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, The Soupy Sales Show, The Comedy Shop, Daytime, Merv Griffin’s Crosswords and Judge Wapner’s Animal Court. New shows will be added in next year.
Other Luken networks include Retro TV, The Heartland Network, PBJ, Frost Great Outdoors and TUFF TV.
