TRN-FM’s Erich “Mancow” Muller is hosting a new locally-focused talk show on Citadel’s WABC-AM NYC.  The program, airing Sunday nights 6-9 p.m., scored a 133% jump in PPM ratings from September to October, Persons 12+, in just his first month on air.  It’s an issues-driven program designed to get a jump on the big stories of the week in NYC and beyond – with, of course, the mix of comedy and satire that Mancow specializes in.

According to Laurie Cantillo, PD at 77 WABC, Mancow’s Sunday night show is, “like his syndicated program, Mancow’s 77 WABC show is intelligent, theatrical, and refreshingly honest, with the host not taking himself too seriously.”

Said Muller: “I’ve never been more excited by a radio show in my career.  WABC is the epicenter of the radio universe…this is where radio legends have launched their careers…New Yorkers are the show. It’s God first, listeners second, and me third.”

Mancow’s recent guests on his TRN-FM syndicated show have included Pro Wrestler and TV Reality Star, Hulk Hogan; Superbowl’s Most Valuable Player, Kurt Warner; Actor, Robert Duval and Musician’s as diverse as, Smokey Robinson and Ozzy Osbourne.
