ImagineMediascape LogoImagine Communications (formerly Harris Broadcast, which also split into Gates Air), provider of media software and networking solutions and Marketron, provider of business software solutions for the media industry, announced a strategic partnership to provide broadcasters with best-of-breed, end-to-end TV and radio ad sales, traffic and scheduling, and automation solutions that leverage 50 years of joint innovation.

The partnership provides improved cross-media revenue operations and reporting for companies with multiple properties and markets. By moving from discrete, bifurcated systems to a unified system for TV, radio and digital, Imagine and Marketron enable customers to harness unified order entry on the front end and combined billing on the back end.

“We are thrilled about our partnership with Marketron, as together we will deliver the industry’s most feature-rich, end-to-end enterprise business and playout solutions designed for TV and radio broadcasters, TV networks and content distributors,” said Charlie Vogt, Imagine CEO. “Last week we unveiled MediaCentral, our reference architecture for the integration and virtualization of our media software, playout and automation functions. Our partnership with Marketron signals an industry ecosystem required to accellerated innovation and best-in-class solutions.”

The partnership combines the solutions that power the 6,800 Radio/Mobile channels supported by Marketron and over 25,000 TV channels supported by Imagine Communications. By pairing the world’s leading TV and radio media solutions, customers will benefit from the capabilities of both companies including modules for reporting, revenue and spot data from Marketron’s open Mediascape platform, as well as scalability and advanced features from Imagine Communications’ Landmark suite of enterprise business applications. The partnership extends beyond these market-leading ad sales, campaign traffic and scheduling enterprise tools to encompass automation, playout, mobility, cloud and data analytics, creating the industry’s most comprehensive cross-media, end-to-end solution in a complete turnkey system.

“We are excited about this new partnership between two of the media industry’s leading providers of media software,” said Jeff Haley, President and CEO, Marketron. “This integration enables our customers to easily run their cross-media business from Marketron’s Mediascape platform, a single, end-to-end, integrated platform, enabling streamlined, efficient business operations.”
