Roberto Gonzalez has been snapping up radio stations in the Rio Grande area, and now he has a deal for another one. The acquisition of KBNU-FM will bring his MB Revolution LLC total to three in the unrated Uvalde TX market.
The seller is Radio Cactus Ltd. Paula R. Furr signed off on the transaction application.
The price will be $200K cash.
The deal will provide a second country station to the cluster. Here’s what the MB Revolution trio will include once this deal makes it to the finish line:
* KBNU-FM, a Country Class C3 on 93.9 MHz with 25 kW @ 292’
* KVOU-FM, also a Country C3, on 104.9 MHz with 25 kW @ 272’
* KUVA-FM, a Tejano Class A on 102.3 MHz with 4 kW @ 217’
