That didn’t take long. Just a couple of weeks after announcing the acquisition of KWOW-FM in the Waco TX market, William W. McCutchen III’s Waco Entertainment Group LLC is trumpeting another, according to broker Todd Fowler of Fowler Media Consulting. This time the station is KHCK-FM.
According to Fowler, who had a hand in both deals, the price for KHCK is $650K.
The seller is Hispanic giant Univision Radio.
The earlier KWOW deal was with Border Media Partners for $1.3M, bringing McCutchen’s recent investment in the market just shy of $2M. Details from that transaction are available here:

By the time the dust clears, McCutchen will have an FM triple-header – he also holds a CP for an FM in nearby Hewitt TX.
