Ed Henson is known as a station broker, but when it comes to the sale of WSON-AM Henderson KY, he, along with wife Gail, is the buyer. Henson Media already owns a pair of Kentucky FMs.

WSON is in the Evansville IN market. The seller is Henry G. Lackey, who will receive $400K for the station. Lackey will also make himself available for consulting services for a period of four years at $12K per year.

Henson Media already owns WMSK-AM in Morganfield KY and WMSK-FM in Sturgis KY. They are near, but not within the signal contour, of WSON.
