What’s as tasty as an exciting extra-innings thriller of a World Series game? Some of the menu items at Taco Bell, the QSR hopes. This could explain its activity of late at cable television, Media Monitors notes in its latest Cable Spot Ten report.

While GEICO remains on top with 59,165 spots, Taco Bell was heavy hitting during the World Series. While FOX was the main broadcast network for game coverage, FOX Deportes is also airing the game. Then, there is shoulder coverage across other sports networks. As a result, Taco Bell’s efforts amount to 33,772 ads — all driven by the Dodgers and Astros, who head back to Dodger Stadium (pictured) with the American League Champions from Houston holding a 3-2 series lead.

Also gaining notice for the week ending Oct. 29, 2017 are No. 6 Trivago, seeing renewed activity with the placement of 25,111 spots, and new entrant Lay’s. The snack food brand rounds out the Spot Ten at No. 10 with 20,791 spots.
