Telethon tops record again

The 42nd Annual Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association raised 63.7 million bucks, topping the previous year's record by three million. The telecast was carried by 190 station in the US and Canada. Lewis, now 81 and dealing with health problems, says he has no plans to end its long tenure as primary host.
