Cause for celebration

If you’re looking for something to celebrate a week from today…well, there’s Jackie Mason’s birthday, or Michael J. Fox’s birthday. Or you can celebrate “National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation Day,” as proclaimed for June 9th by District of Columbia Mayor Adrian Fenty. Not coincidentally, NABEF’s 10th Annual Celebration of Service to America Awards will be presented the same day at the National Building Museum in DC. Quincy Jones will receive the highest honor, the Leadership Award, at this year’s gala.
