Johnson still pushing Clinton candidacy
Now BET founder Bob Johnson is pushing for the VP slot for Hillary Clinton (D-NY) under presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Barrack Obama (D-IL). Johnson has fired off a letter to Rep. James E. Clyburn (D-SC), urging him to urge the Congressional Black Caucus to urge Obama to select Clinton. His argument is that the pairing will assure party unity as it gets set to face off with John McCain (R-AZ) in November.
