Nurses mount health campaign

The Alliance for Quality Nursing Home Care (AQNHC) is targeting members of Congress who have a say in health care policy in the US. The association is interested in making sure that Medicare funding is available for some 1.7M seniors receiving home nursing care, and it further wants to make sure coverage in general is available for children. To that end, it is running a combined television and print campaign in seven markets, specifically mentioning key legislators and urging constituents to contact them to request approval of funding. The markets include Pittsburgh PA, West Palm Beach FL, Green Bay WI, Louisville KY, Indianapolis IN, Cincinnati OH and Evansville IN.
