Omnicom CEO: No major ad spend cuts
Omnicom Group CEO John Wren said yesterday during the company’s quarterly conference call that the company’s clients had yet to make big cuts to their marketing budgets, despite concerns about the economic slowdown here in the states. Reuters reported Wren as describing the company's clients as "a little bit nervous about the economy," but added "we haven't seen any major or serious cutbacks in spending as of today."
