TVB to focus on all-digital station business model
The all-digital television station, less than a year away as broadcasters prepare to turn off their analog signals, will be the subject of a special session at TVB’s annual marketing conference 3/27 in NYC. An all-star panel of television broadcasters will examine the question of what the station business model will look like in a fully digital world with the completion of the multiplatform revolution. Participating will be Dave Lougee, president of Gannett’s broadcasting division, Perry Sook, chairman, Nexstar Broadcasting CEO; and John Wallace, president, NBC Local Media Division. The panel will take the stage following a presentation by Gordon Borrell, CEO of Borrell Associates, who will unveil the findings of his company's 2008 Benchmarking Report on TV Station Website Activity.
