AOL’s “The Black Voices Weekly Wire” launches, sponsored by Toyota
AOL's Platform-A, platform-a.com, worked with Toyota to develop The Black Voices Weekly Wire program, which will help build awareness of the 2009 Camry V6 XLE. Each week, the three-minute video will highlight entertainment stories of interest to the African-American audience, providing users a forum to comment on and discuss the latest news.
“We are excited to be partnering with AOL’s Black Voices, to promote our new Camry, IF LOOKS COULD KILL digital campaign,” says Dionne Colvin, National Advertising Strategy & Planning Manager, Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. “We want to reach the target by providing compelling content that puts African-American women in the driver’s seat and Black Voices is a leader in reaching this valuable consumer online.”
The Black Voices Weekly Wire will run now through August 1. The weekly entertainment video segments will cover the previous week’s happenings in the worlds of fashion, music, movies, TV and interactive entertainment.
