Interep’s Local Focus signs re deal with URBan Radio

Interep’s Local Focus announced today that it has signed a representation agreement with URBan Radio, bringing 23 stations across six markets into the Local Focus fold. Markets served by the 23 stations are Meridien, Tupelo and Columbus-Starkville in Mississippi; Alexandria, LA; Florence-Muscle- Shoals, AL; and Toledo, OH.

Maynard Grossman, Corporate Director of Sales for URBan Radio, said, “The Local Focus reps are very skilled on how they position the importance of smaller markets and our stations’ strengths. Local Focus’ background working at agencies and media companies definitely gives them an edge in maneuvering through the ad agencies.”
