Oregon interest group takes to the airwaves
FreedomWorks Oregon has $1M to spend, and it has energy issues on its mind. It is kicking off a radio flight throughout the state advocating adoption by the state of a diverse portfolio of energy sources. “Looking to the future, Oregon needs to have a diverse portfolio of energy choices, such as geothermal, wave, hydro, natural gas, and wind power to support long term economic growth and ease family budgets,” said the organization in a release. It plans to kick off the “Campaign for Affordable and Reliable Energy (CARE)” with 15-station blanket coverage of Portland before moving later to Eugene and the rest of the state.
