Killer website traffic app from Washington
Bonneville’s WTOP-FM has a new application on its website that would get us to pay more than a few visits. It allows loyal listeners to click on live feeds from traffic cameras thoughout the Washington DC metro to see how things are looking in real time, thus allowing route planning before strapping in and turning the key on your daily commute. “Custom Commute” is provided in conjuction with trafficland.com, and it allows the commuter to program and modify in a tailor-made series of views.
