Univision Online to Become Univision Interactive Media
Univision Communications announced that Univision Online has been renamed Univision Interactive Media and Kevin Conroy, former EVP of AOL, has been named president of the division, effective 1/12. Conroy will be based in New York and report directly to chief executive officer Joe Uva.
In addition to encompassing Univision.com, the #1 most-visited Spanish-language website among U.S. Hispanics, Univision Interactive Media will include Univision Móvil, a Spanish-language suite of mobile offerings, including in-show wireless integrations, mobile video, SMS and Premium SMS programs, mobile portals, mobile advertising and an extensive downloadable content catalog.
