Yahoo buys Maven Networks

Yahoo announced it has purchased online video technology provider Maven Networks, for 160 million. Yahoo said the acquisition of Boston-based Maven will expand its consumer video and ad businesses. Maven's platform allows publishers to deliver video content online. Its client list includes Fox News, Hearst, Gannett and Scripps Networks.
