Auto may be down, but it's still #1
Despite being down 8.9% from a year ago, Automotive was still the top advertising category for local TV stations (local & national spot combined). According to data gathered for TVB by TNS Media Intelligence/CMR, the Automotive category still had more than double the ad spending of the #2 category, Restaurants - 800.4 million vs. 345.1 million. Here are the top 25 ad categories for Q1 2007.
